Stevie B’s has a great team of instructors who are very good with beginners but also can show seasoned players some advanced techniques as well. We won’t force you to memorize endless scales and modes (unless you want to!) or give formal recitals. No, we’ll simply teach you what YOU want to learn, in a fun and relaxed atmosphere that will inspire you to be the best guitarist you can be.
Lessons are $20 per half-hour session, scheduled once per week. Tuition is paid monthly on the first scheduled date of each month.
Chris is a really wonderful guitarist, whose main specialties are Classical, Fingerstyle, and Jazz stylings, but he is equally at home in Rock and Pop. He also has an affinity for Bluegrass and Flamenco music. His influences are John McLaughlin, Jimi Hendrix, Christopher Parkening, Steve Howe and Chet Atkins. He performs with local favorites “The Onlies”. Chris teaches music reading, theory, fingerstyle and pickstyle playing. He is available Monday through Saturday, however many slots are already filled so call for his current openings.
William “Bear” Cannon
Bear is a very gifted player and the students love him. He comes from the “old-school” of guitar pickers, steeped in rockabilly and roots rock a la Gene Vincent, Eddie Cochran, Brian Setzer, Duanne Eddy etc., but can play in many styles. Bear teaches Monday through Saturday, however many slots are already filled so call for his current openings. Check out his band “6 Volt Rodeo” on Facebook
Zach Van Stratt
Zach is a master of singer songwriter styles with a deep knowledge of alt rock, jazz and jam styles. Check out his band “Sideways Factor” on Facebook
